POLICY LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Truth Initiative leads policy initiatives and supports young leaders to advocate for healthier communities. We inspire, educate, and mobilize young leaders, coalitions, and organizations to act nationally and in their communities to prevent youth and young adult nicotine addiction and empower quitting for all.

Policy leadership

We protect the public from nicotine addiction by advancing impactful policies to reduce youth access to nicotine by combating the illegal e-cigarette market, removing youth-appealing flavored products, holding retailers accountable, increasing access to cessation services, and reducing tobacco imagery in entertainment media and pop culture.

Youth activism and leadership programs

To create a future free from nicotine addiction, we know that individuals and organizations must be empowered to act in their communities. We train and inspire young people to make changes in their communities as truth Ambassadors, College Leaders, Community Leaders, and through truth Advocacy Summits.
